Drawn to the culinary world from a young age, influenced by his surroundings.
Moved to New York at age 10, where he lived with his family who ran a specialty food shop.

After graduating from NY Port Washington Schreiber High School, he returned to Japan alone and began his career as a Japanese chef in Kyoto, training at Michelin-starred restaurants like "Kibune Hiroya" and "Japanese Cuisine Sakuragawa."

In 2004, he returned to New York and became the Head Chef at "MEGU" in Tribeca, a renowned destination for gourmets from around the world, leading the kitchen with precision in the intense environment of a New York restaurant.

He returned to Japan in 2009 to work as the head chef at "Takara" in Nishijin, Kyoto, before opening "Another C".

He is also active in cooking classes, culinary collaborations, TV, magazines, and more.
