Another C × Kamogawa Odori Special Dinner
Another C × Kamogawa Odori Special Dinner
Experience the Essence of Kyoto’s Spring. A Fusion of Tradition and Fine Dining
Since its inception in 1872, Kamogawa Odori has captivated audiences as the most frequently performed dance production among Kyoto’s five hanamachi (geisha districts). Its elegant and refined stage continues to enchant visitors from around the world.
This exclusive plan offers a unique cultural immersion, beginning with an insightful tea ceremony where Chef Dan Tominaga of Another C will personally introduce the history and highlights of hanamachi culture and the performance (English explanation available). This allows guests to gain a deeper appreciation of Kyoto’s traditional performing arts.
After the performance, guests will indulge in a luxurious omakase course at Another C, an intimate restaurant with only eight counter seats. The menu features carefully selected Kyoto vegetables, fresh seafood, and premium Satsuma Wagyu beef, creating a refined culinary experience.
As the dinner progresses, a maiko (apprentice geisha) will join the evening, offering a rare opportunity to witness elegant traditional dance and participate in ozashiki asobi (geisha parlor games). This direct interaction provides an unforgettable experience, bringing Kyoto’s rich cultural heritage to life.
